if you know story from friends or family about web design
let me know how they got into the career
and I’m also looking into taking photography part time
so that i could do the website photography also

I guess you gotta have the passion for it, I went into web design because I love art and I love creating something out of nothing. If you’re just in it for the money, you will not enjoy this career trust me.
Prepare to offer free services to make a name for your self, I know it sucks but that’s what I did and it’s paid off quite well in the long run.

Ii have some college for web design as well. I love it and use front page and yahoo small business. I have made many pages but have been sick so i havent updated alot of it but its still working. You can visit it at http://www.debbyc5.net. If you would like some ideas .I have put some of my own pictures on my web site as backgrounds. Look at the pages for poems and jokes. Yahoo Page Builder is a great start.
